Yesterday was Shrove Tuesday, or Pancake Day as I like to refer to it as. Our family was unable to celebrate it properly on the day due to some of the family members being away for the night, but we will be able to celebrate it tonight, with both savoury and sweet pancakes!
Anyway, to celebrate Pancake Day, despite it having passed by, here's a picture of Boomstick with a stack of pancakes. I made sure to make it slightly taller than he is and to add an extra large dollop of butter on the top with it running down the side. Considering that Boomstick has quite the appetite, I'm sure he'll be happy to tuck into such a tall stack! ^_^
I used the same colouring pencils and outline pens as with my previous pictures, though I pressed harder with the pencils this time. I think they came out well for the most part and I didn't have to use the colour filter on my computer in order to edit them, though I do feel that the flesh colour pencil left a few white patches behind - I may need to use a different type in the future. There may have been a few moments in which the colours went over the line, but fortunately those were tiny mistakes from how I see it.
Anyway, hopefully everyone has had a good Pancake Day too. I always love to celebrate it myself, especially when it's ones we make at home! :D
